Our Technical Team are readily available to assist new school or community start youth-led and YCW Nigeria programs. YCW Nigeria Team have gained program experience over the years and will assist in developing and implementing your YCW activities. We offer on-site training and year round technical assistance.

College Crime Watch

Student leadership:   A real solution to crime, violence, and substance abuse on campus.

College Crime Watch involves college and university students in making their campus environment a safer and more hospitable place to peaceful living and learning. In partnership with administrators, faculty, and community leaders, students lead initiatives specific to the needs of their campus.

Goals

• Create a crime-free and drug-free campus environment that allows for safe learning and living.
• Instill positive values, foster good citizenship, and build self-confidence among students.
• Enable college and university students to become resources for preventing criminal and destructive activity both on campus and the surrounding community.

Mission

To mobilize and equip a student-led movement in colleges and universities in partnership with public and private institutions to create a safer environment free of crime, violence, and illicit drugs in order to foster good citizenship throughout the world.

History

CCW is an outgrowth of Youth Crime Watch, which for more than twenty years has enlisted youth in crime reduction efforts in their schools and communities. Hundreds of thousands of our members have conducted patrols, reported crime, mentored, participated in action projects, and contributed to the overall improvement of their communities.
